Location: San Francisco Bay Area (Travel within the SF Bay area to different school sites and occasional throughout California, Expenses paid for by Psyched Services)

Job Type: Part-time, Independent Contractor, 10 hours per month

Position Summary

Join our team as an Observer, where you will play a vital role in contributing to comprehensive assessments that help students thrive! You will work with students from pre-kindergarten to high school, observing their social and academic behaviors in various school settings. Guided by experienced psychologists or BCBAs, you will be responsible for gathering key insights, writing detailed observation notes, and collaborating with a dynamic team to develop meaningful recommendations.

This flexible, Independent Contractor position involves travel to various school sites, primarily in the San Francisco Bay Area, with occasional assignments throughout California. Work is project-based, estimated at around 10 hours per month, providing you with an adaptable schedule. You'll also be trusted to maintain essential records in accordance with HIPAA, FERPA, HITECH, and other state and federal regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Psychology or counseling student or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) preferred.
  • Proficient in working in Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Chat, etc.).
  • Demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for periodic travel within California.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication abilities to effectively manage tasks and convey information.
  • Ability to craft compelling emails, reports, and other communications explaining complex information succinctly using a friendly yet professional tone.
  • A collaborative and adaptable mindset, fostering teamwork and flexibility in various work situations.
  • Demonstrated capability to independently cultivate focus, drive, and productivity to accomplish set objectives autonomously.

Pay Range: Starting at $20/hour
