Qualifications:

  • Master’s level degree
  • Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology with the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing
  • Proficient in working in Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Chat, etc.)
  • Experience completing psychoeducational, academic, and ERMHS assessments in a school setting
  • Available and excited to travel periodically to California and other states
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
  • Licensed Educational Psychologist/Licensed Psychologist a plus

As a Hybrid Psychologist with an emphasis on assessment, your role will primarily involve conducting psychoeducational evaluations, ERMHS assessments, academic evaluations, IEEs, and record reviews for all age levels. Additional duties may include providing counseling, consultation, training, or leading or contributing to projects that support internal company initiatives to innovate the fields of education and mental health and enhance the value we deliver to our customers. Your specific duties will fluctuate throughout the year based on customer needs and your availability and preferences. This flexible hourly position entails a blend of in-person and remote work. In-person work may consist of case-by-case assignments or designated on-campus support days, providing the flexibility to integrate within districts or work independently. During busy periods, your role may require up to 80% in-person work. Some travel, in California or other states, may be necessary for in-person assignments; potentially involving overnight stays depending on the length of the assignment.

Job Duties:

  • Lead or collaborate in conducting thorough psychoeducational evaluations, educationally related mental health services (ERMHS) assessments, academic assessments, independent educational evaluations (IEEs), and record reviews.
  • Engage in assessment activities such as student observations, administering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and conducting interviews with parents, teachers, and students.
  • Craft comprehensive assessment reports with a focus on data-driven insights, functional implications, and personalized, research-based recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues at Psyched Services, as well as with families and members of the IEP team, to facilitate meaningful outcomes for students.
  • Deliver clear and concise presentations of assessment findings and recommendations during IEP meetings.
  • Collaborate with district school psychologists to provide report writing support.
  • As needed, provide counseling to students, consultation to staff, or develop and provide training to team members, school teams, and parents.
  • Contribute to internal company projects and initiatives to further organizational goals.
  • Participate in virtual one-on-one meetings with managers/supervisors, performance reviews, and team meetings, along with both in-person and virtual social team-building activities.
  • Fulfill any additional duties as assigned to support the team and meet company objectives.

Pay Range: $40/hr - $70/hr
